Sometimes too young in attitude, as I love to laugh, especially at myself. I make a very good appearance, even though my favorite clothes have something to do with levi's and sweat shirts. Enjoy CSI, CSI NY, NGC, sports (well, I can live w/o Basketball), NASCAR and formula racing on TV; fresh water fishing, quiet times at home, tail gates parties with family and friends. I am a good cook, better when there is no plan and lots of folks who love to eat. I bake a killer Apple Praline Pie. Own a grill, but have no desire to learn to use it. Men, for whatever reasons, seem to have grill cooking mastered and I am not about to take that away from you. I am relatively quiet, enjoy good friends and easy conversation. I like to tease, and don't mind being teased, as long as it isn't hurtful. Love a good, for the most part, clean joke. I read quite a bit, and sometimes have two books going at once. I build 1" scale dollhouses, make Rosaries (to sell or give to friends) along with other fun craft things. Love flea markets and antique stores though I rarely buy much. HATE shopping for clothes, but you have to drag me out of Lowe's. Volunteer with Animal Rescue, fostering and transporting both dogs and cats. I do have two German Shepherds (gentle types, not "guard" dogs) and also love Ragdoll cats. Wish I had one, but ...not while I have GSD's.

Fast lanes and fast talkers aren't my speed. My ideal is sure of himself, yet unafraid to ask advice from someone else. There are many things I don't know or understand, but I don't want someone to talk down to me. My match will understand I want to go out to eat once in awhile, not every darn Friday night at exactly 6:00. He will enjoy last minute road trips to "We will know when we get there" places, allowing me to help drive as well as navigate. He will let me do my volunteer stuff without feeling he has to do it also, and he won't expect me to follow in his every footstep. My ideal guy - Sam Elliott comes to mind. He is strong, but doesn't have to prove it. He is rugged looking, but scrubs up good when the time calls for it. Likes little kids and never, never is heavy handed with any critter. Well, snakes are an exception. LOL He can own a Lincoln, Lexus or BMW, but let me drive his Silverado. He should like to laugh, hold hands now and then, but not feel he needs to all the time. For some reason, I don't know why, I like my hair stroked every now and then. He would stop along the road and cut me a branch of Dogwood when he had time. Forget buying a dozen Roses, bring me a Rose bush to plant. Just a nice guy whose friends and children respect him, who I may respect in turn.
